Introducing User Tier System: Track Your Progress in Beam

Beam's AI tools are specifically designed for creating interactive playable shorts. To ensure our platform remains sustainable and fair for everyone, we've implemented a tier system that serves three key purposes:

• ✅ Preventing abuse of our AI generation resources.

• ✅ Rewarding creators who are genuinely committed to making games on Beam.

• ✅ Recognizing each completed game that earns approval from our team.

Click on your avatar on the top right of the Grid, and you'll now see your current tier level displayed right there.

The Four Tiers Explained

• 🔵 Tier 1 (Starter). All new users start at this tier, with access to solid AI models and fair daily limits. You can generate 50 images, 8 videos, 20 music tracks, and 20 audio clips per day, with a maximum of 3 projects (deleted projects still count). You'll have everything you need to create your first playable short, with access to models like ZImage Turbo, Flux.1 Schnell, Flux.1 Dev, Qwen Image, Imagen 4 Fast, Gemini Flash 2.5, all pixel art styles, Seedance Lite, Kling 2.6, and Wan 2.6.
  
  

• 🟢 Tier 2 (Creator) doubles your creative capacity with 100 images, 16 videos, 40 music tracks, and 40 audio clips per day. You can manage up to 9 projects (deleted projects don't count). This tier unlocks more powerful AI models including Seedream 4, Flux.2 Pro, Seedance Pro Fast, Veo 3.1 Fast, Sora 2, and Pixverse 5.5 Effects—plus everything from Tier 1.
  
  

• 🟡 Tier 3 (Developer) provides serious creative firepower with 200 images, 32 videos, 60 music tracks, and 60 audio clips daily. Manage up to 18 projects and gain access to premium models including Imagen 4, Seedream 4.5, Longcat, and full-quality versions of Seedance Pro and Veo 3.1 with reference support—plus everything from Tier 2.
  
  

• 🔴 Tier 4 (Pro) offers maximum creative freedom with 300 images, 64 videos, 80 music tracks, and 80 audio clips per day. Enjoy unlimited projects and unlock our most powerful AI models like Imagen 4 Ultra, Flux.2 Flex, NanoBanana Pro, and Sora 2 Pro.

How to Level Up

The path to higher tiers is straightforward: create quality games and get them approved by our team. Here's how it works:

1. 🔨 Build a complete game - Create a fun, playable experience with quality assets, scenes, and interactions.

2. 🎮 Test it - Play through your game to make sure everything works smoothly.

3. 🚀 Submit for publication - When you're proud of your work, submit it through the Share Game menu.

4. 👀 Staff review - Our team will play your game and evaluate its quality and creativity.

5. ⭐ Level up - Once approved and published, you advance to the next tier with better tools and higher limits!

For Existing Creators

If you've been creating on Beam before this update, don't worry! We've retroactively assigned tiers based on your number of published games. Check your profile to see where you stand—your hard work has already been recognized 🏆🫶

Four New Game Tags for Better Discovery

Finding the right audience for your game just got easier.

We've expanded your tagging options with Kawaii, Cooking, Simulation, and Experimental. Whether you're crafting adorable adventures, culinary challenges, immersive simulations, or pushing the boundaries with something unique, these new tags help players discover exactly what makes your game special.

Updated Game Share URLs

When you share your games, you'll notice they now use our sleek new beam.game/play/ format. Cleaner links that are easier to share across social media and messaging platforms.

Improved UI Design Across Beam

We've given modal dialogs across the app a visual refresh for a more consistent and polished look. Small touches that make your entire creative experience feel more cohesive.
